Effect:The magician shows a tall, clear plastic tube and a metal cover for the tube. The metal cover has three colored circles painted on it; red, yellow and green. The magician also shows three balls that match the colors on the tube. The balls are placed in the tube and the audience is asked to remember which order the balls were placed in, however on removing the metal cover from the tube, the balls are seen not to be in the odrer that everyone assumed they would be; they have rearranged themselves in the tube. Again, the balls are removed and inserted into the tube and again they have rearranged themselves. Finally one ball is taken away and placed inside a nearby box. When the box is opened the ball has disappeared. When the metal cover is lifted on the tube, the ball is seen to have reappeared with the
other two and they are now arranged in the proper order to match those painted on the metal cover.

Angles:

Quality: This is a well made product, durable and pleasant to look at.

Dr. Mitch: The is one of those standard staples of children's magic. It seems that every kid's magician performs or has performed this trick at one time or another. A good story line should be developed to go along with this trick, unfortunately most magicians go for the easy way out and the use the standard stop light story. Be creative come up with something original that the kids will remember you by. If you do kid's shows (who doesn't) and don't own this, you need it. If you can juggle a bit, then even better!!!!

Mike Maione: I have this prop and occasionally use it in my show, but I don't use it as much as thought I would before I bought it. The reason is that I don't get as good a reaction from it as I anticipated. In trying to understand why, I think it's because the age group that enjoy it is rather narrow. Real little kids, get confused as to which ball should be on top and which should be on the bottom and for older kids it's a snore. When I find the right routine maybe I'll change my mind. Oh yeah...it's not really very easy to juggle the balls that come with this trick. They are really too light to juggle. Save your money.
