Effect: The magician states that he will make three predictions. He shows a board with six spaces; three for him and three for the spectators. He writes a prediction in the first space and covers it up. The spectator names any word, number, place, color, drawing... anything. It is written in the space above the magician's prediction. The magician makes a second prediction, writes it in the second space and covers it up. Again, the spectator names any word, number, place, color, drawing... anything. And again, it is written in the space above the magician's prediction.
The magician makes a third prediction, writes it in the third space and covers it up. And again, the spectator names anything and it is written in the space above the magician's prediction. The magician then reveals that all 3 of his predictions match the spectator's....perfectly.
Performance Time: 30 seconds to 5 minutes, depending on the routine

Quality: Very high quality product... frame manufactured from select furniture grade wood. Covers also made of furniture quality wood and held in place with magnets. Large (19 1/2 inches wide x 14 inches high x 3/4 inch thick) and easy to see from on stage. Dry erase surface is flawless. The construction is such that this is deceptive from even two feet away.
Dr. Mitch: OK, I know what you're thinking. Dr. Mitch doesn't do mentalism. Guess what ? I do now !! This effect is HOT. When Joe demo'd it for me, I said, "Oh geez, he's going to impress me with a mental epic? " Guess what, not only did he impress me, he KNOCKED MY SOCKS OFF. ...know what kids ?? No force. YES !! THERE IS NO FORCE OF ANY KIND !!!!!!!!! I bought one instantly, I then dragged Mike over and watched his face as HE was blown away too. He bought one!!! I've performed this now for both magicians and lay audiences and the reaction is great. In my opinion, it was always a weak point in Mental Epic that the final prediction was some sort of force. Problem eliminated. If you do mentalism buy this. Although pricey, this is a quality, product with a major impact and well worth every penny !!!!!!!!!!Mike Maione: I love the way Mitch rewrites history. It was I who was "blown away" by the Supreme Slate of Mind and I who dragged him over to see Joe perform it at the Tannen's convention this past October. I admit though, Mitch bought it first. (I have a very hard time parting with big bucks, already owned a version of the Mental Epic, and had to figure out how I would conceal the purchase from the Mrs., first.)
In any event, this is a fabulous prop... very well made, very attractive, very deceptive and very expensive. Knowing the effect, I nearly wet myself laughing at the deceptive way the "no force" prediction is accomplished when I saw it. It is pure genius. Of course, the Mental Epic is a great trick even with a force. For a lay audience, you really don't need this deluxe version. If you perform for magician's, well that's another story. I love mine and put it into my show the same week I bought it.
