Effect: A Chinese coin is removed from a plastic case in which there is a playing card. The card is taken out and the coin is placed on the case. With a wave of the card, the performer transforms the Chinese coin into a half dollar. A second instantaneous wonder takes place when the card is snapped against the half dollar--the half vanishes and the Chinese coin returns, all in a fraction of a second.

Dr. Mitch: This is a REAL QUICKIE. But know what ? It just "looks" magical. Impressive, flashy and seemingly impossible. After I do this, I then use the Chinese coin to do a few moves with and go on to the next. Find a good routine to follow that uses the Chinese coin, and you'll have a major winner. The "Schizophrenic Card" routine the comes with it is a bit corney....even for me.
