Fantasio's Appearing Cane

Type: Stage, Parlor

Skill Level:

Retail Price: $25

Effect: The magician pulls a large silk handkerchief from his pocket and instantly the handkerchief has vanished to be replaced by a black and white gentleman's walking stick (the cane).

Performance Time: This is a QUICKIE, a flash production of a walking stick.

Reset Time: 30 seconds

Angles:

Quality: As with most Fantasio products, this is well made. A little care on your part will help this last a good long time. BE WARY THOUGH...Most Fantasio Products will DAMAGE easily if not handled correctly...treat your props right they will last you. Also after repeated uses, these do have a tendency to wear out, and lose their SNAP.

Dr. Mitch: Of the appearing canes on the market, I like this one the best. The reason being, it is light weight and attractive. Additionally, some of the metal canes are sharp and can cut you when they open. (usually the sight of my own blood during a performance is enough to turn me off of any trick).

Mike Maione: I prefer the metal appearing canes, mostly because they don't bend as much when extended. But, since this one is about a third the price of a good metal cane, you might want to buy this cane instead. If you handle the cane properly, the cane shouldn't bend. Here's what else I don't like about this cane...for the cane to extend to it's full length quickly, it should be stored in the extended position. That's a bit of a bummer. I prefer to keep my props in my case ready for the next show. But, don't get me wrong. This is a good prop, especially if you are on stage.
