D'Lite
Regarding your review of D'LITE, let me add that the short video available gave me a great use for it. I recently performed as Merlyn [sic] in a stage production of CAMELOT at the Broadhollow Bayway Arts Center in East Islip. (Heard of it?) It is unusual for Merlin to perform magic in that show because he is generally played by an actor, not a magician. So I pulled out the stops and performed magic that was suitable for the old druid. I did fiery bursts and flashes and caused a silk to fly across the stage, 25 feet, back into my hand (Kennedy motorized reel). But the most fun I had, personally, was using D'LITES casually during my monologue. I had thought to use one to light up a crystal ball but the spheres just don't handle the light well. Then I took a suggestion from the D'LITE Video and bought a large quartz crystal. That lit up great! I would pull a light out of the air and toss it into the crystal, then read the future from it. Later I substituted the second D'LITE for a red and a green FINGER FAZER, which I attached to the back of the crystal (they are much brighter, very small and come in a variety of colors). Then, when the nymph Nimue came to steal my magic, I would turn the color of the crystal from Merlyn-red to Nimue-green.- Kevin Thompson
