Angles:

Quality: Rocco's version (he seems to be credited with the original) is very good. It is bright enough to be seen in most indoor settings and can be customized to fit most magicians. Beware of cheap imitations they are too dim.

Mike Maione: This is a great effect...perfect for all audiences, young kids to adults. But, forget about buying one. You really need a pair of D'lites to have any fun and be able to pass the light from hand to hand or push it through your head or some other part of your body. You can easily work D'lite into a routine that your audience will cherish. It can be played serious or silly, with music or without. Only your imagination will limit you. I worked out a routine for my Christmas show with a Funken Ring, a small Christmas tree and a set of red Christmas lights that was a real delight to watch and even a bigger delight to perform. Don't wait. Go get a pair now.

Dr. Mitch: This is one of the new true innovations in magic. A fantastic prop that is limited only by the imagination of the user. I have four and I use two and keep two as spares. Here is my favorite kid's show routine. After doing my little "bits" in front of the audience, I grab up my top hat and walk out INTO the audince. I them procede to "pull a light" out of each child's ear, and put it into the top hat. When I get back to the front of the audience, I turn the hat over and out cascades 100 little red pom-poms, which I give out to the kids. The kids take home a nice souvenir: "The lights I pulled out of their ears".

Here is a pet peeve: The light is supposed to look like it is being held between the thumb and forefinger. NOT..."see I can make my thumb tip light." Believe me, I have seen this done....it is NOT supposed to look like the tip of your thumb is glowing...it is suuposed to look like you have reached up and pulled a light out of the air.
