Effect: The magician shows a small pack of cards. The spectator is asked to cut the pack in half. The magician gives one pack to the spectator and keeps the other half for himself. The spectator and magician swap one card each and place the card reversed into the remainder of their packet. The magician takes back the packet, adds it to his own. The cards are then spread...the two face up cards match. The spectator thinks all the cards are the same, and when the cards are shown the spectator is proven right...all the cards ARE the same; EXCEPT the 2 selected cards!!!
Performance Time: 1-2 minutes
Reset Time: None

Quality: These are regular playing cards (nothing gimmicked) and a set of instructions.
Mike Maione: If you read any of my other reviews then you know I'm not wild for packet tricks. But surprise, surprise, I like this one. And it not just because it's a Dr. Magic original. The effect is pretty powerful and if you factor in how ridiculously simple the trick is to learn and perform and how inexpensive it is, you've got a lot of bang for your magic buck.I really enjoy sucker type effects where the audience thinks they have it all figured out. They're wrong of course.
The trick is very similar to an effect released in the 80's called "Wipe-out". Dr. Mitch says the similarity is purely a co-inci-dunce. Still this is a self working stunner worth looking at.
