Effect: This is a gimmicked deck produced by Dan Harlan that works like this. Magician shows the back of a deck of cards. A stick figure wearing a top hat is seen draw on the back of the cards. The deck is turned over and the spectator calls out the name of any card. Magician removes selected card, places it face up on the table and turns the deck face down again. Magician flips through the cards and brings the stick figure to life. The stick figure takes off his hat, reaches in and pulls out the spectators card.

Mike Maione: This is one of my favorite deck tricks. It's no wonder that tons have been sold. It's very easy to perform, knocks out lay people of all ages and even gets smiles from magicians. And get this, it can be repeated IMMEDIATELY. You can't give out the deck for examination. (If you could, it would be real magic and make the makers millionaires.) But, nothing is perfect. This is a good close-up trick that is suitable for table-hopping. Oh yeah, there are two versions of this trick. Number 1 is much better than the second version. Number 2 is printed on Bicycle cards (good) but has a different animation on it. Unfortunately, it's just not as good. Stick with #1.

If you get the sense I like this product, give yourself a prize. I love it.

Dr. Mitch: I really don't see what all the hype on this trick is. Sure, its a cute idea, however, I think the handling needed to get to the climax is somewhat awkward. If this is not done smoothly, or if the spectator glimpses where they shouldn't this trick is blown. I am thoroughly un-impressed by it.
