Effect: You take out a little plastic wallet and remove one of your business cards, but realizing it is your last one you say you're going to have to hand it out a piece at a time. So saying, you rip a large piece off the corner. You then take back the piece and restore it to the torn card, which you hand out.

Quality: This is of dubious quality. Those little plastic card wallets always look a little cheesy to me.

Dr. Mitch: If you are like me and always looking for new ways to give out your business card, then this is one of those effects you get excited about in the catalog and are real disappointed with once you get them. The card does not "look" torn; the moves are not smooth; and of course the little plastic wallet looks cheesy. You cannot hand the wallet out for examination and if this is done in any type of lighting situation other than a total eclipse, people will spot the gimmick. Mine was tried and tried again until it was finally tossed into one of my "give it up" baskets. Don't buy it.
